SALON POLICIES

Nobody likes to be strict, but sometimes we have to be. We have set these terms to protect our business, valuable team members, and guests. We run on tight margins and believe in paying our team fair wages. We want to avoid any unscheduled downtime & maximize our team morale (nobody likes to be let down). In return we promise you beautiful and healthy hair, skin and lashes. Our terms and conditions are not only in place to protect our business, they are also to protect the health and safety of our guests and team, so we ask that you please read them through.

Cancellation and Appointment Amendments

We require a credit card on file to secure your appointment when booking. We securely store card details with a third party provider (vagaro.com) and nobody at Niki Moon Salon and Spa can access those details. They are only charged in line with our terms. Your personal data is securely stored with vagaro.com and complies with current data protection practices.

We kindly ask that any changes or cancellations are made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. A notice of less that 24 hours impacts our opportunity to serve others and will result in a 50% cancelation fee. Please give the salon a call when you need to modify or cancel an appointment.

We understand life happens and you may miss an appointment without notice. However, if you miss appointments we reserve the right to charge a fee of 50% of the cost of the scheduled services. We also reserve the right to ask for pre-payment via credit card to book future appointments.

Your card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your scheduled appointment or if you fail to cancel within our 24 hour notice requirement. If proper notice is not received 50% of the scheduled service total will be charged to your credit card on file.
 

Arrivals

Please ensure you arrive on time to your appointment. Lateness may cut your services down. If you are over 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule your appointment.

We kindly ask you do not bring guest to accompany you to your service.

Health & Safety

We carry out allergy tests where required, please inform us if you have any other allergies or sensitivities you feel could be aggravated in the salon. It is important that you make us aware of any sensitivity (itch, heat, burn) during a chemical procedure.

Young People & Children

We do not offer services to children under the age of 3 years old.

The salon is a dangerous place for children; there are many hazards such as hot tools, sharp tools, chemicals, heavy furniture, and cables to name a few dangers. At Niki Moon Salon, we do our best to provide a relaxing and peaceful environment. We also understand that a salon and spa visit is important “me time.” For these reasons, as well as safety considerations, we ask that children less than 6 years of age be accompanied by another adult (who is not receiving a service) at all times. Children who disrupt another guest’s service will be kindly asked to leave and your appointment rescheduled.

Color Correction

Color correction is charged by the hour as quoted. Color correction is a process, therefore you are paying for the process not the final look. The final look might be achieved in one sitting but sometimes it will take multiple sittings across many months. We will advise you at the consultation, be prepared to be patient, but we promise it is worth the wait!

Hair History

It is EXTREMELY important that you are honest and in depth as possible with your hair history, one forgotten bleach or box color could result in unintended results! Don’t worry, we strand test all color corrections to ensure your hair quality will be protected.

Results

Results may vary and are never guaranteed! As stated above, your look may take some time to achieve. If your hair is dark, but you want it to be lighter, be prepared to wait for a little while.

Refunds & Guarantees

We want you to love your hair! If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service you received from Niki Moon Salon, we would love the chance to make it right. Please call and schedule any adjustments within 10 days of your original appointment. Any attempts to make these adjustments at home or another salon void the redo and refund policy. Calls made after 10 days will be handled on a case by case basis, but may not qualify for an adjustment and will therefore be charged as a new service. If you feel your color is fading at an accelerated rate, you must be using the recommended care products from Niki Moon Salon in order to receive an adjustment. We cannot guarantee any services when proper at home care is not used. This applies especially to any fashion tone color services. Any adjustments made due to lack of proper maintenance will be charged as a new service. Refunds for services will not be given, except at the discretion of salon management.
